The scientific holding Scientific Alliance is celebrating a jubilee – 10 years in the field of expert support for scientists. During this time, our team of specialists has undergone a path of fundamental professional development, and the company itself has significantly expanded its sphere of influence and gained recognition in dozens of countries. How was the Scientific Alliance holding formed? Which achievements are we most proud of?
How did the history of Scientific Alliance begin?
The company's history began in 2016 with the opening of its first office in Kyiv. At that time, we began actively cooperating with scientists from Ukraine, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the countries of the CIS. In literally just one year of operation, we managed to significantly expand our sphere of influence – this is evidenced by the fact that our clients already represented over 30 countries of the world.
Alongside the expansion of our geographical reach, the internal formation of the company was also taking place. In 2017, we developed our own corporate identity and created a brand book, and also signed our first official memorandum of cooperation with a higher education institution of Ukraine, which, in turn, became the first documented partnership in our history.
The founder of the holding, Denys Pylypenko, was nominated for the "Person of the Year" award in 2021 for his significant contribution to the development of science. Besides this, over the years of operation, the company's activity has been repeatedly recognised at a professional level – from national business awards to industry accolades in the field of science and education. This result serves as confirmation that our approach to working with scientists is recognised not only by clients, but also by independent experts.
What have we managed to achieve over 10 years of work?
Over ten years of work, the company has travelled the path from a small office in Kyiv to an international structure with recognition in dozens of countries around the world. Among the key achievements along this path are:
- Geographical expansion. Over 10 years, we have opened four offices: two in Ukraine, one in the Republic of Kazakhstan and one in Kyrgyzstan. We also do not plan to stop here and aim to open new offices in other countries.
- Staff growth. As of 2026, the company employs over 250 specialists, as well as several hundred temporary partners and employees.
- Our own certification centre. We created the Certification Center, whose activities are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the countries where the company is represented. It issues scientists with official certificates confirming completion of training courses from our scientific and educational centre.
- Educational activity. Over all the years of its existence, the company's scientific and educational centre has conducted hundreds of webinars and seminars for more than 20,000 researchers.
- Partner network. We actively cooperate with universities and scientific organisations, as evidenced by over 100 signed memoranda with institutions in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Albania and other countries.
- Awards. Evidence of our professionalism and competence lies not only in client feedback, but also in accolades across various categories. Among our main awards are the Ukrainian Business Award in the "Business of the Year" category, the title of "Best Enterprise of the Country", the "Scientific Company Award" for high performance and expertise indicators, the honorary award "Choice of Postgraduate and Doctoral Students", "Industry Leader 2025", and, on the eve of the jubilee, the company was recognised as a leader in the "Choice of the Country" business award.
What has earned Scientific Alliance the trust of the scientific community?
Over 10 years of work, we have understood that scientists trust not promises, but results. That is precisely why our team of specialists accompanies every project personally (from choosing a journal to the final publication), so that the researcher can concentrate on their scientific work rather than on the bureaucratic and technical details of the process.
We work with scholars from over 65 countries around the world, and each time we take into account the specifics of the particular academic system – the requirements of certification commissions, the peculiarities of national evaluation systems, and so on. This allows us to provide not template-based, but genuinely personalised support to every client, regardless of which country they are from.
Besides direct support of publications, we are actively engaged in scientific activity, in particular: we conduct webinars and seminars, cooperate with leading universities and scientific institutions through dozens of signed memoranda, and support young researchers on their path to their first publications.
